Alpha Success - Little burnt out

Hey everyone! Long time no see, I had a family emergency, or three, and became quiet. First I'd like to thank everyone who played the Alpha and gave feed back. I know what you guys want and feel I have the information I need to make a absolute amazing Beta.

The Alpha has left the 3D programming part of my brain a little fried. So, here's the game plan! 

I'm going to take a month about, starting now, to work on another smaller project that's been shelved for a long time and get it to OUYA, hopefully full release. 

I will also test some back end things using this game, better methods to save, multiplayer, API, and a couple other things that I plan on testing. I'm also hoping that it'll earn me enough to get me some real art! (maybe a better website?)

Anyway thank you so much for the support so far, just wanted to let you know that I'm still working hard and havn't gone anywhere!

Beta Feature List

While we'll be in alpha for a while longer I've created a list of features I want to have included before we enter Beta!

Features for Beta

Physics/collision near perfect


Hostile environments


Blocks have special attributes

Terrain will have objects such as trees, rocks, grass, ect. spawn in their appropriate area.

Blocks that grant special abilities

More biomes

Base of randomly generated quests come in.

Of course it'll be up for change through voting/comments and I'll ask for specifics as I program them but what do you guys think! Do you all feel like this is a good goal for Beta?

OUYA Cubed Progress

First week of Alpha and everything is going great so far! I coudlnt' have done it without all of you. The newest version with more bug fixes will go live on monday, March 10th, but if you want to get your Cube on before then feel free to sideload the apk avaialble here!

Newest fixes include

fixed collision

the L/R shoulder buttons will increase/decrease the view distance. At minimum draw distance your fps will be wonderful but a good 20 is where I like to play. If you make some masssive structure though and want to enjoy it in full expand to 75 cubes out! Any pictures you take I'd love to see.

A couple other things fixed to, so give it a shot and let me know!
